About William Lorman
My interest in rare coins and paper money began at the young age of 10. It wasn't the buzzing of the television or the pages of comic books that captured my sense of wonder, it was, and still is, the joy of collecting.

Having grown up in the greater Chicago area I found many opportunities to peruse my love of collecting. In fact, it wasn't many years later at the age of 14 I found myself setting up my very own booth at a coin show.

As time went on my drive never ceased. 1976 marks the year that I opened a retail store in Sarasota Florida. From there, I had a radio show and television show that were tailored to educating new collectors. I would tell some fascinating stories about the true history of money. Did you know that the official term for the American penny is "one-cent piece"? They used to be the size of todays half dollar, and the British term "Penny" stuck when the first cent was minted in 1793.

Through the years I have obtained lifetime memberships to numismatic associations dedicated to the preservation and identification of currency. The American Numismatic Association, Florida United Numismatists, Central States Numismatic Society, Society of Paper Money Collectors, and the Original Hobo Nickel Society just to name a few.

Now, 40 years later, my pursuits have brought me to Jackson Hole Wyoming where I am still collecting and I offer my knowledge and services to you.
